CONSUELO: Guadalupe Ruiz

Guadalupe Ruiz's exhibition originates from her new publication “El libro ilustrado - The Picture book” capturing memories of her house and dealing with themes such as home as a setting, photography as a measure of time, and embroidery as both a motif and a means of transmission. The artist activates these themes through practical workshops, blending the connections between craft practices and knowledge transmission.

For the exhibition, a series of workshops take place, focusing on learning specific techniques and traditions.

SOMA: Tobias Maria Koch

Tobias Koch is a Basel and Turin-based composer and sound artist working across performance, visual arts, film, and music. Tobias Koch’s site-specific practice articulates the varying unseen auditory connections between space and sound, bringing a musical focus to the physical environment in which the work takes place.

Conceived as a vibrating listening platform and fruit of curator Kristina Grigorjeva’s research, SOMA explores the emancipatory potential of sound and listening as a transformative social practice. SOMA invites to listen, linger, vibrate and hear collectively; from the somatic, interceptive to the social body.
