ISOMORPHOUS DRIP is a tale of kinship and union between various elements – be it fire and water; earth and air; form and sound. Conceived as a dialogue, the exhibition at KRONE COURONNE presents a new body of work by artists Maya Hottarek (1990, Biel/Bienne) and Julian Zehnder (1995, Zurich), who have worked together in the past.
Determined by their different material properties, the works morph into each other. They enter in resonance. The symbiosis between Hottarek’s ceramics and Zehnder’s sound compositions lies at the heart of the artists’ investigation: an attempt to create a delicate and living environment, filled with harmony, love and care.
The exhibition is supported by Gwärtler Stiftung. The programme 2021 is supported by Stadt Biel/Bienne, Kanton Bern, Kulturstiftung-GVB, Temperatio, Ursula Wirz Stiftung.
